As a result of the agreement signed between Ibermática and the University of Valladolid, the Department of New Technologies of Ibermatica and the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University will collaborate to develop projects around the design of expert systems in Electrical Engineering.

In addition, Ibermatika has already developed an expert system for Iberduero. This system is based on a map of the electrical grid and automatically performs the electrical schematics that the first eyeliner made manually.

In this sense, together with TIFSA (Research and Railway Technology) has developed a system to support the control of Renfe stations. Combining tools for computer design and the development of expert systems, it organizes the station's luggage depots, designs a complex board that controls the change of needles and controls the movements of the right trains and/or light signals.
