AIDS: hope in rats

Anti-AIDS drugs can be demonstrated in rats with human immune system. During the past year, these special rats created and developed genetic engineers from California. These rats are currently used as a live laboratory to learn how AIDS affects the human immune system and find possible solutions.

The new immune system implanted in rats is demonstrated by the application of a cubic millimeter extracted from man under the skin of the tissue ratified. The virus that causes AIDS is then established in this tissue. Finally, it is checked whether the tissue has been infected or not. In all the tests carried out to date, a total of 40 rats have been infected.

Therefore, in these infected rats, medicines can be tested and that is what scientists are working on.
