Bittersweet gene therapy

Researchers from Frankfurt and Zurich recently announced the healing of two siblings through gene therapy. These two brothers suffered from a serious genetic disease, chronic septic granulomatosis. The main consequence of this disease is immunodeficiency, caused by a defective gene.

The researchers were in the milk meat. The success of gene therapy spread to the four winds. Now one of the two brothers dies and they don't know why.
