The star Fomalsel is located on the so-called Costa Pez del Sur, 23 light-years from us. By directing the IRAM radio telescope antenna on Mount Pico Veleta in Granada to this star, astrophysicists have detected a dust disc around it. They also believe that the planet can soon be created.
Fomalsel is a young 200 million year old star, very similar to our Sun. According to astronomers Alan Stern, Michel Festou and David Weintraub, the dust disc surrounding the star has a diameter of 200 astronomical units (astronomical unit = distance from the Sun to Earth or 149.597.870 kilometers).
If that dust out of the cloud that created the star, it would have already been hidden. According to the three astronomers, this disk of dust has emerged from the collision between the meteorite comet and the emerging planets. Before the Fomalhauts album was found that of the star Beta Pictoris. It is the second planetary cradle. Now we need to find planets around the stars.
