A group of physicists at Princeton and Berkeley Universities has claimed that there would be a rare and invisible type of energy in the Universe.

This hypothetical type of energy has been called Black Energy, and the group of scientists believe it provokes the expansion of the Universe counteracting the mutual attraction of matter. The Princeton team believes that Black Energy is related to Black Matter, so most of the Universe would be influenced by this energy.

According to Saul Perlmutter, “the Universe is mostly composed of Matter and Black Energy, but we do not know what is neither one nor the other.”
