Greater prominence to scientists
The European project EMATEK aims to promote technological development and give greater prominence to scientists and technologists. The two-year project proposes innovative short and medium term lines of action in the technological and industrial fields, such as the definition of the causes of inequality of opportunities between men and women, the proposal of a guide to measures for resolution and the development of professional career management plans and leading technological lines.
The project is being developed by various Basque entities and institutions (AED-Association of women entrepreneurs and directors of Bizkaia, ASPEGI-Association of professionals and entrepreneurs of Gipuzkoa, CC.OO., DEMA-Desarrollo Empresarial, Emakunde, TEKNIKER, LABEIN, ROBOTIKER…), led by INASMET.
