Project supported by the Erasmus+ programme ‘Astronomine - Astronomy learning through Minecraft’. Its goal is to stimulate the interest of STEAM themes among 9-12-year-olds and build knowledge about astronomical issues using the game Minecraft. In addition to astronomical knowledge, it will seek to develop transversal competences such as logic, creativity and scientific thinking, creating different worlds of Minecraft.

Astronomine Erasmus+ is a knowledge partnership project led by the Drumcondra Education Centre (Ireland). The other members of the consortium are Private School Themistoklis (Greece), NUCLIO (Portugal), Atermon B.V. (Netherlands), Hearthands Solutions (Cyprus) and Elhuyar (Basque Country).

The project officially started on 1 November 2022 and will last for 24 months. In 2024, the game of games to work astronomy with young people aged 9-12 will be published free of charge.
