Interactive display of the solar eclipse

If you have not yet decided where you will see the eclipse, an interesting resource is this map for the visualization of eclipses, created by the National Geographic Institute of Spain.

On this map you can find out if the place you have chosen to observe the eclipse is the right one. By entering a locality or a specific address, you can know the magnitude and duration of the eclipse in that place, as well as its evolution over time.

It is a very useful tool to plan where to see the eclipse. In fact, the eclipse will be at dusk, when the Sun is already low. Thus, for a good view of the eclipse, it will be important to choose a place with good visibility in the West.
