CEIT promotes new lines of research

Nanotechnology, microsystems and wireless, research lines that will prioritize in the coming years the CEIT of Donostia. At the same time, and in the future, the challenge for the new CEIT headquarters to be completed by 2003. This headquarters will be located in the technological park of Miramón, where research laboratories will be located in information technologies, microelectronics laboratories and the social headquarters of the Microsystems Research Center.

These intentions have been announced in the memory of the CEIT of the year 2000. The revenues of this research center, 7.02 million euros, grew by 4.56% compared to 1999. On the other hand, there was a change in the direction of the center, since Alejo Avello replaced Manuel Fuentes.
