BITIA, relationship between genetic and clinical data

Why do two patients, with very similar pathological data, respond so differently to the treatment given? Researchers have tried to find the response in genes and, according to the latest data, variants in gene expression could explain this. The newly released BITIA software relates genetic and clinical data to new factors that can help predict cancer development.

In fact, the Basque company NorayBio has developed BITIA together with the Department of Oncology and Palliative Medicine of the Autonomous University of Madrid and the Department of Medical Oncology of the University Hospital La Paz.
