They have taken a photo from space to the largest population in history. Maha Kumbh Mela is a celebration that brings together more than 70 million Hindu pilgrims in northern India. The ritual baths of more than a month are directed to the river Ganges, sacred place 15 kilometers from Allahabad. There they cleanse sins with the intention of advancing on the path that will take them to my destiny.
The image is taken by Space Imaging of the satellite ICONS, 677 kilometers from Earth and 6 kilometers per second. At the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna and Saraswati rivers you can see thousands and thousands of points. Although they look like ants, they are pilgrims in red costumes.
