A wildlife that excites
Don Gutoski, a Canadian, saw a red fox chasing a white animal in the snow. As he approached, he realized that he was a white fox. The larger animal caught the small one and ate it until it was saturated. When he had eaten enough, the red fox appeared, dragging the white man’s body.
The photo shows the footprint of global warming in Canada. At a time when the common fox is expanding to the north, he meets more and more often with his smaller companion, the Arctic fox. He has now become a competitor to the Arctic foxes, as well as his main predator. The photo of Don Gutoski is representative enough!
The photo is the winner of the annual Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2015 competition organized by the Natural History Museum and BBC Worldwide. Don Gutoski is an emergency physician by nature, but he became fond of wildlife photography from a young age. it has 40 hectares of land for your enjoyment; it tries to keep it intact —wild— and gives you an excuse for eleven photographs.
