Animated science: Jurassic submarine vessels

The Ammonites did not swim; they were propelled. Their coiled shell was composed of several chambers, and the body was placed in the last. But they had an organ called a syphilis, like a long viscera that ran through all the chambers. Through this organ they could fill the chambers with gas or water to go up or down.
