The importance of colors in science and art

Color is essential for scientists. It has been widely used in the chemical laboratory for the detection of metal cations and other ions. We visited the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), an analytical chemistry laboratory.

We also went to an art workshop where we visited an illustrator and a calligrapher. They know the history and technique of the use of pigments very well.
