A spontaneous robot

Pepper is a social robot that lives in the computer science faculty of the University of the Basque Country. He has the ability to speak and also to move, but to perform all these actions he must be programmed in advance. The members of the research group of Robotics and Autonomous Systems of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) have maintained a beautiful challenge to make the robot perform more natural, spontaneous movements when it speaks: They want the Peppers to create new movements on their own.
