Mobile operating systems

Smartphones or smartphones are small mobile computers. In addition to making calls or sending messages, they serve to connect to the Internet and use a variety of programs. Therefore, when buying a smartphone, it is necessary to take into account the operating system on which they are based.

Although there are other systems, today we are going to talk about two of the most used, with the permission of the iPhone, of course: Android and Windows Phone 7. For this, we have brought two models from the LG house.

This is Optimus One. It works with Android, the mobile operating system developed by Google. This means that using your Google account, you can intuitively use email, calendar, Google Maps -GPS navigator and all... And it also has a search engine that allows voice searches. One advantage of having an open source Android system is that you can choose from over 80,000 free or paid apps to download to your phone.

The other is Optimus 7, which runs Windows Phone 7, the latest mobile operating system released by Microsoft. This model is a bit more professional and allows, among other things, to work with Excel sheets and Power Point. It also connects to your Xbox console and Zune reader so you can enjoy your music, videos, and video games from anywhere.

The operating system is not the only thing that distinguishes these two models. The screen of the Optimus 7 is larger and has a higher resolution camera that records in HD. Another big difference is the price: The Android is sold for 280 euros, while the Windows is sold for 580 euros. The choice of one operating system or another depends on the tastes and needs of each one, but there is no doubt that the price is decisive.
