“Miraila”, engravings of Arminche through the mirror

in 2016, several engravings from the Paleolithic period were found in the cave of Arminche in Lekeitio. They were made 14,500 years ago, fifty spectacular images of animals. Inspired by the work of these artists, some students and professors of Fine Arts of the University of the Basque Country have created the animated film “Miraila”. The project received the Science in Society Fellowship of the CAF-Elhuyar Awards in 2017. A year later, they have the result of the work on their hands.
