Face to face with melanoma

María Jesús Aguillo was diagnosed with melanoma 10 years ago and has since undergone two surgeries and a preventive treatment. Her case is being handled by dermatologists from the dermatology service of Hospital Cruces, who are part of a large research project. In fact, at the University of the Basque Country, several groups are working to learn about melanoma from all perspectives.
