History of the exploration of Mars.
In the next few minutes we will talk about Mars and the possibilities, minds and projects that humans have to get to it. This is the topic of conversation, but before we continue with the dance of questions and answers, we will see in the following video what humans have done so far looking at Mars.

The starting point was the 1960s. The first successes came from the U.S. Mariners, who managed to approach Mars and send hundreds of photographs.

The feat of the Americans was followed by an even greater feat of the Soviets, who in 1971 managed to install the Mars 3 probe on Mars without problems. A couple of years later, the Americans also arrived. And

from there, the defeat after the defeat, until 1996. The Mars Global Surveyor mission was launched that year with two probes: With one that would stay in the orbit of Mars and one that would land. The second was carrying a Sojourner all-terrain vehicle. After a nine-month journey, Sojourner began exploring Mars in August 1997.

This mission was a milestone. He has been followed by others who have done similar work, including the Phoenix Mars Lander, which is now on the red planet, among others, which has been recently discovered by the discovery of frozen water.
