Keys to the coronavirus: Animals

It is believed that the origin of SARS-CoV-2 is bats from which it passed to humans through another intermediate animal species that is not known. The lack of knowledge of the intermediate animal does not mean that it is not for the animals, in fact we have seen that there were outbreaks in the mink farms. Infected animals have also been reported in some zoos, including tigers, lions and other felines, as well as domestic pets, especially cats.
