Collagen and 3D printers for the care of injuries

Tendinopathies are mainly painful injuries that affect women and elite athletes. There is currently no adequate treatment to treat these injuries. The Triankle project at European level aims to put an end to all this. The goal is to create custom implants using 3D printing technology. For this purpose, collagen from the Navarrese company Viscofan, which manufactures packaging for the meat industry, will be used as raw material. Nanobiocel, a research group from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of the Basque Country, is part of this project. We will learn about the work carried out within the framework of the Triankle project.
