The challenges of fast charging

Electric vehicles take a long time to recharge and this can be a problem for long journeys. Iosu Aizpuru and Eneko Unamuno work on the Fast Track project at Mondragon Unibertsitatea to improve the fast charging of electric vehicles. The solutions are being developed around three themes: the vehicle’s battery, charging points and power grid. In fact, the problem is complex and affects more than one element.
