Agreement for the Protection of the High Seas

Most of the member countries of the United Nations adopted the Oceans Treaty last year, i.e. the Open Sea Agreement. It includes measures for the conservation and use of the biodiversity of these international waters and is now in the ratification phase. To talk about the possible impact of the agreement, we met with the researcher Ibon Cancio of the University of the Basque Country.
