Errekaleor, the path of energy self-management

The busy district of Errekaleor in Vitoria-Gasteiz has been energetically independent since its disconnection from the electricity grid in 2017. Now, a study from the University of the Basque Country has measured the energy footprint of the inhabitants of Errekaleor. This measurement system goes beyond direct consumption, because it also includes the consumption habits of the neighbors.
