Renewable Energy Communities

We will get to know the community of Renewable Energies that has been created in the town of Orexa. Three production points of shared self-consumption using solar panels have been put into operation to supply the houses and factories of the town. In this way, they get half the electricity they use in the village and the citizens themselves decide how to distribute the money they save thanks to this shared self-consumption. This energy project has been launched with the support of Goiener, a renewable energy generation and consumption cooperative.
