From the garden to the table and back

Tknika, the centre for applied research and innovation, is developing a new area around bioscience and sustainable development. The objective is to promote the relationships between the centers, working in the network to create and take advantage of the synergy between
them. The first examples of the circular economy are found in schools that work with food. What is produced in agricultural schools is transferred to food processing centers and hospitality schools for use. The resulting organic waste is returned to the orchards of the agricultural schools in compost form. The cycle is then closed and a new cycle begins.
