The physics of artisans in violins

The sound of violins still has many secrets. It is not true that the only good violins are the ancient Stradivarius and the Guarnerias. And it's not clear what a good violin is. Claudia Fritz, an expert at the Sorbonne University, is conducting a study to determine the acoustic relationship between the front and rear caps of violins. With him, among other experts, luthiers from the BELE school in Bilbao are participating in this study.
