#20 ULTRA VIOLET WAVES: IgNobel Prizes in Butt Sight

The IgNobel Prizes have a different flavour than the Nobel Prizes. They combine humor with scientific rigor and are considered, in a way, an alternative to what the Nobel Academy provides. However, Alaitz Ochoa de Eribe Aguirre and Ana Galarraga Aiestarán from Elhuyar have studied them with ultraviolet waves, and although they have given them something to think about, it has not been very funny.

To complete the section, they report the scientific-technological news, compose the section “You learn something every day” and question the veracity of some statements.
