Ferrokarrilla del Norte - Annick Laruelle, mathematics, games and oncology

This research has a strange story, really. Annick Laruelle, Ikerbasque researcher at the UPV/EHU, is applying game theory to the study of a carcinoma. He is accompanied by oncologists and other disciplines, but Laruell’s work is ultimately based on a theory of mathematics and not on biology or medicine. Mathematics helps. And he was working on the project with a Biocruces oncologist as a result of a radio interview.
