Marian Iriarte Ormazabal: Chemistry in everyday life

Marian Iriarte Ormazabal is the protagonist of this session of the cycle "In the light of women scientists". He is a professor at the University of the Basque Country, where he has been working at the Faculty of Chemistry since 1991. He is also dedicated to the dissemination of science and is currently the dean of the Faculty of Chemistry. His area of research is polymers. During the colloquium, he not only explained his career in university and research, but also talked about the challenges of chemistry and science.

the cycle "In the light of women scientists" is the result of a collaboration between Elhuyar and San Sebastian Culture, whose coordinator and guide is Ana Galarraga Aiestarán, from Elhuyar.
