About the biodiversity of Aitziber Sarobe Egigu

Conversation between Aitziber Sarobe Egiguren and Ana Galarraga Aiestaran on the loss of biodiversity and policies to combat them. The colloquium is part of the cycle of talks in the light of women scientists, which aims to make Basque women scientists known.

Sarobe holds a PhD in biology and specializes in ecology. He is a professor at HUHEZI and, in his militancy, a member of the Arkamurka Zarautz natural group, as well as the Naturkon ecological group in Gipuzkoa. He has been working for years for the conservation of nature, and from this perspective and based on scientific evidence, he finds criticisms of several decisions that have been made and are being made on the territory.

The cycle of talks in the light of women scientists is the result of a collaboration between Donostia Kultura and Elhuyar.
