Session 34 of Season V: We’ve talked about how Trump’s restrictions affect data collection. For example, only the measurement of CO2 concentration in the atmosphere at the Mauna Loa Volcano Observatory has been interrupted by an eruption for decades, but Agina Trump’s policies can also disrupt the measurements. Gorka Bueno Mendieta and Maite de Blas Martin from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), from the Bilbao School of Engineering, joined us. Their team has measured the university’s own footprint on the environment. And finally, there are trees and forests in Iceland. They are not numerous. It’s interesting what they are and how they are.
