Researchers from the universities of London and Tel-Aviv have revealed that human tuberculosis is very old and older than cow. For this they have been based on a skeleton found on the coast of Israel. The 9,000 year-old skeleton has managed to extract DNA from the tuberculosis bacillus. Thus, on the one hand, they have shown that human tuberculosis is older than previously thought, since so far it was believed that it appeared 6,000 years ago and, on the other, they have analyzed how it has evolved.
