Amount of terrestrial iodine

It is rarely taken into account, but the amount of iodine that the earth has is important for thyroid and general health. This is what the German Ministry of Health has remembered. The presence of iodine in their lands is scarce and iodine is essential for the proper functioning of the thyroid gland. This food vacuum is not adequately covered, so pregnant or lactating German women should take iodine in pills.
When the lack of iodine is chronic it is usually hyperthyroid, which causes problems of breathing, food, throat, etc. In Germany, for example, one in forty newborns has thyroid problems, which causes delays in the formation of the skeleton and maturation of the brain.
Dr. Harald Schicha, of the University of Cologne, pointed out the convenience of establishing iodized salt in food.
