The US NCEP organization aims to reduce the current harmful effect of cholesterol and saturated fats on food.

The US National Cholester-Education Program (NCEP) aims to reduce the negative impact of cholesterol and saturated fats on food. The products with the most cholesterol and saturated fats in the daily diet are dairy, eggs and red meats. Therefore, it proposes to reduce the consumption of these products.

The habit of fast food is known in the USA, the burger being the best known in this type of food.

Therefore, given the difficulty of eating less burgers, biophysicists propose a new way to prepare minced meat from the burger. This method allows to reduce the cholesterol of meat by 40% and that of saturated fats by 80%.

This group of researchers recommends frying minced meat in vegetable oil. One kilo of meat needs an oil medium and must be kept fried for at least ten minutes.

Thus, cholesterol from meat and saturated fats are partly dissolved in oil and unsaturated fats from vegetable oil pass to meat.

Then meat and oil are separated. Add a half liter of boiling water to the meat and let it macerate. Then the meat is ready to eat and the water can be used as a sauce.

Before casting the vegetable oil can be used in another three or four shifts.
