authorities will suspend three concessions to loggers and consider them “protected forests.” This way we want to preserve a natural park of 300,000 hectares, one of the richest in biodiversity in the world.

This measure has been customary, considering that wood is the basis of the Indonesian economy, with which annual revenues of 60 million dollars are obtained. In addition, it should be noted that in all respects forestry is also illegal.
