The Elhuyar Foundation has for many years disseminated science through conferences. This informative work is carried out mainly through two circuits: In Gipuzkoa, with the help of the Social Work of the Kutxa Foundation, in the Houses of Culture, and in Navarre, with the support of the Department of Education, we broadcast in schools, among students and teachers of ESO and ESPO.
Apart from these two circuits we also organize and give lectures, and precisely in 2006 we have launched a greater dissemination of this offer to the whole society. To do this, the first step was to introduce the papers on the website www.elhuyar.org, in order to offer stakeholders the possibility of programming them.
A total of 21 conferences complete the offer we want to spread through the web. The topics are also varied: health and food, sport, life and chemistry, sustainable development, climate change, energy, geology... They are prepared to last about an hour.
