Gaiker coordinates a project for the reuse of wastewater

The Gaiker technology center is coordinating a project to reuse purified water. The objective of this project is to use the purified water as a water resource. Reuse strategies for this type of water will increase water availability by 6% in the European Union.

This means an annual saving of 10 billion m ^{3 in} water collection. They have a comprehensive plan to reuse Vitoria-Gasteiz wastewater for irrigation and replacement of reservoirs. According to expert estimates, in the European Union, after the increase in strategies for reuse of wastewater, there has been a 6% increase in water availability.

Gaiker will work on this project, which has a budget of 2.3 million euros over the next three years.
