The government of Nepal orders a French company to clean up the Everest summit.
As mountaineers Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay ascend to Everest on May 29, 1953, more than 150 expeditions have climbed to the top in the south. These expeditions have caused a huge landfill on the southern Everest hill (8,000 m).
This hill is the last resting place before ascending to the top, where the mountaineers deposit the surplus material to facilitate the descent. According to the Mountain Society of Nepal, there are almost 17 tons of waste on this hill. This neck is visible in the spring, when the winds carry the snow, and that is when the photo below comes out.
In this place, along with trash, frozen bodies appear. Therefore, it occurred to them to begin cleaning up the authorities of Nepal. For this purpose they commissioned the cleaning work to the French company Dolma, formed by film and mountain producers, and carried out the cleaning in the first half of May. The rubbish, taking advantage of small funiculars, descends to the areas located at 7,700 m, 7,300 m and 6,800 m of height. From this last height, through the jackets, all the garbage is transported to the Kathmandu.
At the same time, the physiology of man working at 8,000 m of height will be analyzed. Finally, we will say that the cost of this cleaning expedition will be 80 million pesetas or 4 million pounds.
