Basque institutions in the European renewable energy programme

The European Commission has approved the Basque Energy Agency, EVE, and the Basque Aeolian Islands within the renewable energy promotion program. Both entities will participate in the European Union's Campaign for Take-Off program. This campaign brings together private and public companies and entities with a strong commitment to developing renewable energy sources.

Specifically, the EVE has been recognized by the project “Photovoltaic solar installations connected to the electric grid in the educational centers of the Basque Country” and Basque Country’s Wind Energy Development Plan for the promotion and development of wind energy in the Basque Country”.
