The use of similar micromachining techniques for the realization of integrated circuits has allowed the manufacture of this mechanical ear, which allows to produce large quantities of grain in a relatively adequate way. But before starting, they want to improve the sensitivity of the tool.
The mechanical cochlea functions as the real. The cochlea is a spiral structure of the inner ear.
It consists of several tubes in which there is a liquid similar to water. When sound arrives, it produces waves in this liquid, the waves move a membrane and this movement becomes a signal (electric current) of sending to the brain.
