It is a small device called "Galeo 2000". Telephone, fax, photocopier and answering machine at once. Ideal to be located in any office or home, with its peculiarities of operation.

So far the phone line has been used to receive the aIa fax. This is because to receive the fax it is necessary to "select" this function using the key. Therefore, if the line is selected for the phone you cannot receive the fax, and vice versa, if it is selected for the fax you cannot receive phone calls. Therefore, in many places two lines have been installed with their corresponding number, one for telephone calls and one for fax.

However, the "Gaieo 2000", invented by the French company Telecom, solves the problem through a single line. In fact, the device detects if the call is an aIa fax to speak over the phone and automatically selects the correct function.

It is small in size (98 x 260 x 240 mm) and very light (2.3 kilos), making it ideal for anywhere. But its capacity is great. It has ten numbers of memory, possibility of sounding, is prepared to keep hands free when speaking, etc.

It also has a fax and sends it in about eighteen seconds. It has a five-leaf loader and a 30-meter long thermal paper roll and also works as a photocopier. In addition, the "Galeo 2000" has an automatic numerical answering machine that allows to consult the messages of the answering machine remotely by phone. Even if the call is fax to the answering machine, the device automatically separates it. It costs 90,000 pesetas or about 4,000 pounds.
