Boulengerula taitanus is an animal looking like a worm but amphibian. It lives in southeast Kenya, in Africa, and grows in underground gaps. American biologists investigate these amphibians in the laboratory and discover that puppies feed on the skin of their mother. In a week the offspring grew by 11%. Biologists consider that amphibian has in common the period of alteration of the skin and breeding. In addition, the mother has a thick skin that allows her to use this peculiar breeding feeding strategy. NHM and Alexander Kupfer
