Claudio Palomo, professor of Organic Chemistry at UPV, has been awarded the 2008 Euskadi Research Prize in the Science and Technology modality. The Jury considers that Professor Palomo has made very important contributions in organic synthesis and has contributed significantly to the development of new methodologies for the creation of carbon-carbon bonds, but also for the generation of bioactive molecules in some therapeutic areas.
