10 years on the surface of the comet

Ten years and 6.4 billion kilometers. The European Space Agency’s Rosetta spacecraft has come a long way; the first spacecraft in history to reach a comet. He has seen the Earth three times and Mars once. He also met the asteroids Steins and Lutetia. He then spent two and a half years in lethargy. And last January he woke up and went looking for the comet. It reached its destination in August: comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. Ander Martínez de Albéniz is a Tolosa engineer. If all goes well, this month Rosetta’s Philae module lands in a comet. In any case, Rosetta has already left us beautiful testimonies of 10 years of journey in photographs.
