The oldest human traces?

On the slopes of the Italian volcano Roccamonfina, three friends left their tracks about 350,000 years ago. Their legends say they are from Satan, but apparently they are yielded by man.

The paleontologist brought legends about Satan's footprints to the foothills of the Roccamonfina volcano in southern Italy. There are three traces trapped in the lava. They were made without solidifying the lava yet and could only belong to the devil for the locals. But no. They are older than Diablo himself, as three people were abandoned in rocks formed 385,000 and 325,000 years ago. At that time Homo heidelbergensis lived in Europe, so they belong to three of its members. This species was the ancestor of the Man of Neanderthal, which then developed in Europe, but not ours, since we are heirs of another line that evolved in Africa.

Analyzing the length, width and other characteristics of the feet, researchers have concluded a series of data on the owners. For example, they had a meter and a half height, due to leg errors, and almost certainly they were on two legs. Some points of the tread lines have also found remains of hands, but researchers believe that the hands were only used as an aid, as we do today in the great escarpments.

Homo heidelbergensis was a great man. Indications have been found that adults measured between meters and 80 meters. Italian paleontologists think that those who were in the volcano could be children.

In any case, if dating is confirmed, researchers have stated that Italians would be the oldest human traces. There consensus is not absolute. In Tanzania there are footprints of almost four million years. These footsteps were built by two hominids that could be the ancestors of Lucy. The truth is that these hominids did not belong to the genus Homo, and according to some, they are only species of the genus Homo. The genus Homo evolved 2-3 million ago.
