Magnetic and morphine field

1997/05/01 Elhuyar Zientzia Iturria: Elhuyar aldizkaria

Frank Prato, a scientist at the University of Western Ontario in London, has discovered an interesting feature of the magnetic field. The magnetic field increases the analgesic effect of morphine. First, it has analyzed the behavior of the Cepea nemoralis marraskilos, supported on a support of 40 <unk> C. Without injection, they leave before 5 seconds, but with morphine injection they take three times longer.

Snails injected with morphine better support pain if they are in magnetic field.

Subsequently, the researcher has created a magnetic field in the middle of snails drugged through three electromagnets and the result has been that the higher the frequency of the variable magnetic field, the longer the influence of morphine on rodents is.
