Swedish researchers analyze the differences between Neanderthal man and us through computer images.

Neanderthal Man lived in Europe and Western Asia. For a long time he remained in the same territory as another hominid, the modern man. But 30,000 years ago the first disappeared and only the second survived. There is debate about the causes of this disappearance. Knowing if both were the same species or not, could clarify many studies.

After analyzing the bone DNA of the two hominids, scientists have concluded that Neanderthal Man and modern Man are in different branches of evolution. Now, Swiss paleontologists have studied the development of skulls by computer imaging. According to them, the characteristics of each species highlight much of the children. And that means they are two species and not one.
