An attractive view of number theory

There are three kinds of lies: the typical lies we all say, the orders of politicians and statistics.

This latter type of lie comes from the hand of mathematics, but this branch of science has other views. Yesterday, at the Koldo Mitxelena Cultural Center in San Sebastian, mathematician Juan Carlos Peral spoke about it; it was a lecture for anyone to understand.

In this lecture he tried to show the relationship between mathematics and nature through, among other things, the succession of Fibonacci and the ratio of gold. Galileo published in 1623 the same idea: mathematics is the language we need to understand the universe.
