Eruption of a volcano in Alaska

A volcano sprayed in recent months began erupting last April in the east of the Aleutian islands of Alaska. The gigantic cloud of dust and steam created by the eruption of the Shishaldin volcano has reached 30,000 feet in height and incandescent lava emissions have been 650 feet.

According to the Sumendi Observatory of Alaska, since last February there has been a great seismic activity in this area and the volcano eruption has not surprised them. The Shishaldin volcano, one of the most active in Alaska, has begun its eruption 24 times since 1775. The last eruption took place in 1995. Initially, due to the high risk for aircraft, all flights arriving from Anchorage to this area were cancelled.

On the other hand, the observatory has warned of the danger of land movements in the vicinity of the volcano, asking that the inhabitants of the area and the mountaineers who frequent the area be treated.
